Haiti - NBCA COED STM - November 7 - 14, 2020
Haiti continues to have issues, whether natural disasters or man-made disasters. The rains from Tropical Storm Erika caused a mudslide, on August 29, 2015, in the community of Carries. The Mission of Grace community was damaged due to unrest in late 2018. The purpose of this trip is to work alongside the Mission of Grace to rebuild lives, homes, the clinic and a sustainable Carries to help people to rise again.
In addition to opportunities to repair damages and rebuild homes and the clinic, you will be able to share the Gospel, teach Bible Study and Vacation Bible School) and serve at the school (teaching English or music lessons), provide medical care, help with the children at the orphanage, spend time caring for the elderly, nurturing teen girls and boys, teach vocational training at the men’s transition center (electrical, plumbing, or etc.) or home making skills (knitting, sewing, crocheting, or etc.).
Your presence and service will be a witness to Christ love and compassion for the people. Expect a closer relationship with the Lord, knowing ‘that which you have done for the least of these my brethren, you have done unto the Lord’ Matthew 25:40.
